Speaking & Leadership

COMMUNITY EVENTS, TRAININGS, & MUCH MORE

Looking for a keynote speaker, pundit, podcast guest, trainer, or facilitator? I’ve spoken to many dozens of audiences — live and virtually — across the nonprofit, corporate, academic, and public sectors and at community events.

Whether I’m working closely with small groups or speaking to gatherings of hundreds of people, I have extensive experience tailoring my content, tone, and approach to the specific needs of my audience.

No matter whether your priorities are accessibility, warmth, and humor; technical expertise and insight; or inspiring the hearts and challenging the minds of your audience, I can hit the right spot for you.

Message me and let’s get your next event on our calendars.

Over the years, I’ve spoken …

  • as a human rights expert for policy and legal centers such as the Woodrow Wilson International Center for Scholars, the Society for International Development, and the George Washington University Law School;

  • as a specialist in diversity, equity, and inclusion for IBM, GlaxoSmithKline, and the College of William and Mary Business School;

  • as a trainer for K-12 teachers via Primary Source, the Tempe (Ariz.) Unified High School District, and the North Carolina Council of Teachers of Mathematics;

  • as a workshop facilitator at activist conferences for Amnesty International, GLSEN, and the National LGBTQ Task Force;

  • as a fundraiser for AccessHealth MA and Harbor to the Bay;

  • as a community educator for the Central Square Theatre and the OUTSOUTH Queer Film Festival;

  • as an invited lecturer at nearly twenty universities, including Yale, Cornell, the University of Michigan, the University of Southern California, and the University of North Carolina; and

  • as a panelist, panel chair/commentator, and/or keynote speaker at more than fifty academic conferences.
